What Is YIN Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative practice where poses are held for 1 to 5 minutes. It targets deep connective tissues—like fascia, ligaments, and joints—to enhance flexibility and joint health. This style supports deep relaxation and mindfulness and is a powerful complement to more active yoga forms. It helps release physical and emotional tension while inviting calm and clarity into your week.

It serves as a gentle, accessible entry point for beginners, balancing strength and flexibility without the rapid, flowing movements seen in styles like Vinyasa. Our Feel to Heal class is a gentle Hatha Yoga series created to support everyone—from beginners to seasoned yogis—in finding a deeper, more mindful connection with their body and breath. Together, we’ll explore pranayama (breathwork), asanas (postures), and meditation to build strength, flexibility, and emotional balance. Each class is a chance to move with intention, listen to what your body needs, and honor your own unique journey. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice, this is a welcoming space to come back to yourself and find calm.
